JAMMU, Nov 20: Kiran Wattal, convenor of Shri Mata Kheer Bhawani Welfare Society (SMKBWS), presented an LED ‘pratima’ of the Almighty Goddess to Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar in a function held here today.
Wattal also invited him to J&K on the eve of Jyeshtha Ashtami next year.
On the occasion, Khattar inaugurated a new complex of the university.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Khatter said that he is a devout devotee of Mata Kheer Bhawani and has offered pooja at the temple several times while he was in J&K’.
SMKBWS is an initiative of Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj.
Wattal said that the society had done a lot of work to further beautify the shrine of Mata Kheer Bhawani at Tullamulla in Kashmir.
The LED pratima was presented to CM Khattar in the presence of SVSU vice-chancellor (Dr) Raj Nehru and SMKBWS member Pankaj Dhar.
