Wazir’s concern over neglect of families killed in tragic bus mishap

RAJOURI, Mar 7: Chairman, State Gurdwara Parbandhak Board (SGPB) and ex-MLC, Tarlochan Singh Wazir has expressed his deep concern over the neglect of families of recent flash flood victims of Nowshera and expressed his grief and sympathy with the affected families of different areas of Nowshera, who were killed in a tragic bus mishap full of baratis near Rajpur Bhatta.
Wazir accompanied by senior Sikh leaders, DGPC members and Sikh Intellectuals visited today the site of this huge tragedy and all the affected villages of Bhatta, Rajpur, Karnara and Nonial and paid rich tributes to departed souls. He expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and also listened the problems and concerns of the people of these villages.
Wazir along with Advocate Surinder Singh, Jathedar Mohinder Singh, Jaspal Singh Mangal, Narinder Singh Khalsa, Gurdev Singh, Surjit Singh, Manjit Singh and many others addressed the Sangat at different Gurdwara Sahibs of villages Bhatta, Karnara and Nonial, where the local Sikh leaders, including Advocate Rattan Singh Member SGPB and others raised different issues and problems of minority Sikh community in Nowshera area of Rajouri Distt.
The ex-MLC assured the people of these villages and families of the victims that he will vigorously take up issues of adequate compensation, impartial enquiry and proper infrastructure with new Government.
He also assured the Sikh Sangat of these villages of all cooperation and help for improving the infrastructure of various Gurdwara Sahibs. He also disclosed that soon a delegation of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) will visit the area for certain help and to boost the morale of local Sikh Sangat.
