WCWS holds annual general body meeting

JAMMU, Jan 23: The annual general body meeting of We Care Welfare Society (WCWS) J&K, a self funded NGO, was convened at KC Residency, here.
General secretary of the Society, Rajinder Gupta conducted the proceedings of the meeting and explained overall working of the Society in his opening note whereas president Dr R K Gupta presented overall gist of activities which WCWS has organized from its inception 2018 to till date.
Senior vice presidents Sudershan Gupta and Col G C Raina narrated their views for new programs as well as ways and means for improvement of financial position of WCWS while as organizing secretary Nikhil Gupta expressed the need for improvement in dissemination of information through social media like Facebook, WhatsApp, Website, Press and through other media channels.
Treasurer Kuldip Uppal presented financial accounts – Audited Report, Income & Expenditure statement for 2022-23 and sought approval from the house. Members of the general body approved the financial accounts with voice vote.
The House was also opened for suggestions from the members. Many members gave valuable suggestions were recorded for future deliberations. One of the senior members Anil Marwaha suggested to contact the public undertakings for getting financial help for specific projects through their CSR.
While presenting vote of thanks, Prof M Sadiq Nargal (chairman) briefed the members about each & every program which the Society is conducting at present and new activities to be taken up in future.
