WCWS holds medical camp at village Chiryai

UDHAMPUR, Feb 21: We Care Welfare Society (WCWS), Jammu organized a free medical camp for Eye, General Health and Heart check-up at village Chiryai, Panchyat Dhanoo of Block Tikri.
During the camp, Dr Abhishekh Sachdeva (Ophthalmologist) and his team of famous eye hospital ‘Sachdeva Netralaya’, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu), examined eye patients for all eye diseases and ailments.
Around, 150 eye patients were examined and 15 of them were screened for cataract surgery. Subsequently, they will be operated upon in the coming days at Sachdeva Netralya.
Dr Neeraj Gupta, well – known Cardiologist and Head of ASCOMS Artemis Heart Centre, Jammu and his team, examined 135 patients of general health and heart related problems of which 8 patients were referred for further examination and treatment at Artemis Heart centre. Facilities of ECG, BP, blood sugar (F), eye testing with latest equipments were provided at the camp. Medicines and spectacles were also distributed to the patients free of cost.
Nisha Sharma (Chairperson, BDC Tikri) along with Sarpanchs and Panchs, were also present in the Camp. WCWS office bearers including Dr R K Gupta (president) and Prof M Sadiq Nargal (chairman) as well as paramedical staff of ‘Sachdeva Natralaya’ also gave their services in the Camp.
