‘We The Humans Forum’ distributes free ration among 60 families

SAMBA, June 25: Members of We The Humans Forum for Nature and Mankind, today, visited three Panchayats in Samba district viz., Utterbehni, Saangarh and Pancholi to distribute free ration and surgical masks among 60 very poor and distressed families.
Total 600 kgs of dry ration comprising wheat flour bags, nutri, Daal, Cooking oil, salt, turmeric and red pepper powder was distributed, today, by We The Humans team comprising it’s vice chairman Capt (retd) Lalit Sharma, , Prashant Charak in charge district Samba, Puneet Singh and Sanna.
Prominent, among others, who were present on the occasions were Sunita Sharma, Sarpanch, Yoginder Sharma, Sarpanch, Mohd Rashid, Sarpanch, Anil Sharma, Sarpanch, Balbir Singh Naib Sarpanch, Ram Lal Panch, Gopal Sharma Panch, Garo Devi, Panch, Jyoti Devi, Panch.
Vice chairman of the Trust Capt (retd) Lalit Sharma in his addresses at a number of places, appealed public to strictly maintain the COVID SOPs and get vaccinated on their turn to defeat the ongoing Corona pandemic. Capt Lalit Sharma told them not to treat opening of lock down as if Corona is not there. In fact, Corona has only been contained to some level, but if people violate Government COVID SOPs and don’t wear facemasks and use sanitizers or do malpractices like overloading in vehicles, spitting on roads, time is not far away when the third wave of COVID will strike with its full force.
Highlighting role of “We The Humans” in restoring nature and role played during COVID-19 pandemic, Capt. Lalit Sharma emphasized upon people to do plantation of fruit and ethnic varieties of trees, in order to protect nature, during coming Monsoon season. He called upon one and all to take pride in culture, history.
Prashant Charak in charge Samba district, assured on behalf of the Trust to launch a plantation drive and plant at least 2000 fruit trees and ethnic varieties of trees during next two months of Monsoon. Prashant Charak vowed to start few rural employment ventures in Samba district to enhance income of rural women and raise their living standards.
