LUCKNOW: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said  the government will not spare the perpetrators of the Assam terrorist  attack that killed 14 people and injured 20 others.

Mr Singh said here,”India is emerging as new  developed and prosper country. Many countries are being affected by rapid growth  of India.”

Mr Singh condemned the cowardly terrorist attack of Assam  rebels, yesterday.

On three days visit to his constituency here, Mr Singh met  with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers of the Mahanagar area. He said incidents of rape, loot and murder reflected failure of the Samajwadi Party  government.

While addressing party workers in Jankipuram, he said Lucknow will be transformed into a developed city. Work on  the Lucknow ring road, with an estimated cost of Rs 5,000 crore will start from September.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and party  vice-president Rahul Gandhi had also strongly condemned the terror attack.  Altogether 14 people, including two women, were killed in Kokrajhar  district of Assam yesterday, when militants dressed in Army fatigues opened fire  at the busy weekly market.
