SRINAGAR: Weather woes to continue as isolated rain and snow is predicted during the next 24 hours in the Kashmir valley and Ladakh while a major Western Disturbance (WD) is likely to hit on February 5 which will remain active till February 7.
There was slight improvement in the day temperature on Saturday due to dry weather during the past 24 hours in the Kashmir valley though it was still below normal. A Met department spokesman said here this evening in a forecast said there could be light rain and snow in the Kashmir valley and Ladakh region while weather will remain dry in Jammu region during the next 24 hours.
There could be isolated to scattered very light rain and snow on higher reaches in the State during subsequent two days. However, he said there is a forecast for widespread rain or snow from February 5 to 7 in the Kashmir valley. (AGENCIES)
