JAMMU, May 29: The faculty and students of Govt Polytechnic College here participated in one day webinar on ‘Emerging Research areas in Computer Science and Engineering’ which was organized by Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri.
The webinar was attended by participants from all over India through online mode and experts from eminent institutions across India delivered online lectures in this webinar.
These experts included Prof. Ashish Gosh from ISI Kolkata, Dr. Haider Banka from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Dr. Susmita Ghosh from Jadavpur University and Dr. Baijnath Kaushik from SMVDU Katra.
The speakers enlighten the participants about latest technologies in Computer Engineering like Genetic Algorithms, Machine Learning, Evolutionary Algorithms and Applications and Deep learning, which is need of the hour.
The Webinar was presided over by Vice Chancellor of BGSBU, Prof. Javed Musarrat and Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Iqbal parvez.
On this occasion Principal of Govt Polytechnic College Jammu, Arun Bangotra emphasized on current trends towards latest technologies of Computer Engineering and termed Online Webinars as a great platform for online studies.
