SAMBA, Feb 11: Dogra Degree College organized a webinar on “How to Improve Communication Skills”, today.
The objective of the webinar was to bring out the best in the students and to upgrade their communication skills and personality development. The webinar was inaugurated by the formal welcome address, presented by Priyanka Sharma, Lecturer English.
Dr Ankita Gupta, HoD English, GGDSD College Chandigarh was the keynote speaker of the webinar. The speaker emphasized on the need for students to maintain positivity at all times in life and said that communication skills aid in all aspects of life and help people to excel in their personal and professional life. She stressed on the need of creating awareness among students about the importance of communication skills and dynamic personality and provides guidance and motivation through various activities for their improvement.
More than 100 students from various departments of the College participated in the virtual event. During the session, students were trained in the ways in which learning could be an even more delightful experience.
Bela Thakur, Principal of the College appreciated the initiative taken by Priyanka Sharma and Aditi Khajuria for the smooth conduct of the webinar.
