JAMMU, Nov 27: To commemorate 33rd death anniversary of late Girdhari Lal Dogra, a webinar was organized today by Late Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Trust in his remembrance.
The webinar was attended by people from across the globe and members of various Dogra organizations. It was also attended by senior BJP leaders Col Rajyavarddhan Rathore, Shaina, senior NC leader Devender Rana and Preeti Sapru.
All the speakers spoke about the life and achievements of late Girdhari Lal Dogra and how he worked towards the development and upliftment of J&K.
The opening remarks of the webinar were given by his daughter Nidhi Sharma while the closing remarks were delivered by his elder daughter Sangeeta Jaitley.
The webinar was organized by Lalit Sharma of International Dogra Society in collaboration with Late Sh Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Trust.
Due to the prevailing COVID situation, no function was organized this year keeping in mind the social distancing norms. However, the statue of late Girdhari Lal Dogra at Dogra Chowk was garlanded by O P Dogra, Trustee, Late Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Trust, in the presence of Devinder Rana, Munish Dogra, Devender Batra, Manik Batra and Bhisham Batra.
