Week long induction training programme for PGTs held

JAMMU, Feb 26: A week long Induction training programme for newly recruited PGTs of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jammu region was inaugurated at the Auditorium of Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Jammu where AVLJ Rao, Deputy Commissioner, KVS, Jammu Region was the chief guest.
Forty four newly recruited Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in different subjects and hailing from the Kendriya Vidyalayas situated in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and entire J&K are participating in this programme. D R Meena, Assistant Commissioner, KVS (JR) and T R Choudhary, Principal, KV No.1, Jammu will be the Course Director and Resource Person respectively.
The programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest. Students of the venue Vidyalaya recited Shlokas and welcome song on this occasion. D R Meena formally welcomed the guests and the participants of the programme. He gave a brief note on the aims, objectives and the detail of the planned activities to be included in this programme.
AVLJ Rao in his address said that the aim of this programme is to prepre the freshers to be able to pursue with the policies and programmes of the Sangathan. He said that KVS has acquired the status of being the best organization of the world according to the independent surveys done. The organization has acquired the quantity, quality and economical viability to cater world class services in the field of education at abroad and in the country having people with a wide range of cultural values.
The Vote of Thanks was extended by T R Choudhary and the programme was conducted by Princy Bhat, Coordinator, CCA Activities of the Vidyalaya.
