Sir,
It is a welcome decision on the part of the Central Government that the Government employees who have differently abled children to take care of will be exempted from routine transfers and they will not be asked to take voluntary retirement on refusing such posting.
The decision will certainly help a good number of disabled people who may be suffering from blindness or low vision, hearing impairment, locomotor disability or cerebral palsy, leprosy, mental retardation, mental illness and mental disabilities. Otherwise, there are chances that these people might suffer in case their caregivers are transferred.
The Government must take into account all the difficulties faced by these disabled and chart out a plan for their welfare.
The State Government, particularly, the Social Welfare Department is requested to implement the same in the State, as it would benefit the disabled community.
Yours etc….
