Welfare Committee delegation meets Sat Sharma

JAMMU, May 15: A delegation of the Welfare Committee, Bhawani Nagar, Janipur met BJP president and MLA Jammu (West) Sat Sharma and submitted memorandum to him.
The delegation while submitting the memorandum raised the issues of low voltage of electricity, acute shortage of drinking water, damaged lanes and drains, lack of parking space for vehicles and problems of dumping of chicken waste at the entrance of Bhawani Nagar resulting in a very unhealthy and filthy atmosphere in the area.
Sat Sharma gave a patient hearing to the delegation and issued on spot instruction to the concerned officials to look into the problems regarding electricity and water supplies.
The members of the delegation also apprised the MLA regarding forth coming annual Kher Bhawani Mela that is attended by the thousands of devotees and demanded that as such there is a need to address all the issues in an expeditious manner.
The delegation was led by its president B L Sharma and comprised of other office bearers including Virendra Raina, B R Jasrotia, Nagarmal, Tej Krishan Bhat and Kuldip Kanna.
