JAMMU, Dec 27: Welfare Committee Mujmargh, Shopian camp Sidra Jammu in a meeting today at Geeta Bhawan Muthi urged the Government to clear doubts about the Distress Sale Act of 1997.
The meeting was chaired by Dwarika Nath Raina president of the Committee. He appealed the District Development Commissioner, Shopian to release funds for fencing and renovation of Shiv temple, Mujmargh which is in a dilapidated condition.
He also demanded restoration of street near temple and Shamshan Bhoomi/Shanti Ghat in the village which have been encroached by some unscrupulous people .
