JAMMU, Nov 20: In connection with celebration of Samvidhan Divas (Constitutional Day) a meeting of the BJP SC Morcha Jammu and Kashmir UT was convened here at Party Headquarters today.
All the office bearers of SC Morcha, district presidents and general secretaries and Mandal presidents participated in the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by the Morcha Prabhari, Jaidev Rajwal along with Morcha president, Prof Garu Ram Bhagat .
While addressing the activists of the party Jaidev Rajwal said that Morcha is working hard to strengthen the BJP at grassroot level.
Morcha is committed to strengthen the BJP from booth to Pardesh by starting a joining drive in which many prominent persons of the society will join the party, hen added.
He also said that Morcha is serious about the safety and security of the employees working in the Valley.
Rajwal said that Modi Government is working honestly for the growth of weaker sections of the society. But at some places especially in rural areas the condition of the people is very appalling. “It’s our moral duty to assist these people”, he added.
While addressing the Morcha workers Prof Garu Ram Bhagat, president SC Morcha said that we will celebrate the Samvidhan Divas with pomp and show.
All the arrangements have been made for it. A large number of prominent people along with party workers will participate in the programme.
He added that it’s the beauty of the Constitution that a poor boy from a village became the Prime Minister of the country.
He said that India has one of the best Constitution in the world where everyone enjoy the equal rights.
Munish Sharma All Morcha Prabhari also addressed the Morcha activists and expressed his satisfaction over the working of the Morcha. He also said that Morcha has an important role to play during the upcoming elections.
Morcha general secretary, Rakesh Sangral and Mohinder Kumar Bhagat also addressed the Morcha activists.
Mohan Thapa National Executive Member presented the vote of thanks.
It may be recalled that Samvidhan Divas was first celebrated in 2015 as a mark of tributes to the first Law Minister and founder of the Constitution of the country, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
