Western singing mesmerizes on 5th day of Display Your Talent at JU

JAMMU, Nov 20: The events of ‘Group Song Western’, ‘Western Vocal Solo’ and ‘Western Instrumental’ were conducted today in the ongoing ‘Display Your Talent 2023’, organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu.
Naresh Sharma, Amarjeet Singh and Yoginder Kumar Sharma were the adjudicators for the events.
In Group Song Western, the team of The Business School, JU stood First while the Second position was secured by GDC Kathua. Dr Farah Chowdhary was the Teacher Incharge of the event.
In Western Vocal Solo, Kunwar Langer from The Law School, JU stood First, Tanuj Kumar from DD & OE stood Second while the Third position was shared by Prashant Sharma from DD & OE, Andrew from IMFA and Ansh Pawar from Bhaskar Degree College.
The Certificates of Merit were awarded to Avleen Kour from Department of Mathematics, JU and Shubham Aryan from IMFA. Dr Tsering Yangzom was the Teacher Incharge of the event.
In Western Instrumental, the First position was secured by Andrew from IMFA while Sanchit Kaswalia from the Department of Law, JU secured Second position. The Third position was shared by Prashant Sharma from DD & OE and Ansh Pawar from Bhaskar Degree College. Dr Ripudaman Parihar was the Teacher Incharge of the event.
The events were witnessed by the members of Campus Cultural Committee, teachers, students, scholars of the University of Jammu and prominent members of the civil society.
The events were managed by Mohneesh, Urvashi, Idrees Fahali, Kanya Sharma, Angraz Singh, Seeta, Suriya Banoo, Rishika, Shehzad Ali (Cultural Representatives), Balwant Slathia, Sachin Sharma. The sound was looked after by Kulbhushan Thakur, and Arif Paul.
On 21st November, the event of One Act Play would be conducted from 10 am onwards at Brig Rajinder Singh Auditorium.
