JAMMU, Mar 23: Worthwhile Gases Private Limited (WGPL) today announced to launch operations in Jammu.
WGPL, based at Chandigarh will be launching its non–subsidized LPG solutions in Jammu and for this they have already entered into tie–ups for bottling, logistics and regular gas supply.
WGPL will be launching non-subsidized LPG from August this year and to cater to its customers it has set up a Rs 7 crore plant in Buhana, Rajasthan.
It also has a technical and strategic alliance with international energy solutions provider, Torus Energy Company (USA). “My Gas”, the non–subsidized LPG that WGPL will be marketing, will come in volumes of 6 kg, 15 kg and 17 kg.
Akshay Jain, Managing Director, WGPL said that the Indian market is currently dependent on state–owned bodies for supply of LPG. For domestic users migrating across states, it is difficult to subscribe to the subsidized LPG service due to the stringent documentation requirements. Their subsequent reliance on the grey market and difficulties faced in procuring alternative fuel options is what WGPL aims to alleviate.
