NEW DELHI, Oct 11: In restricted activity, wheat prices rose by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today following increased offtake by flour mills.
Traders said increased offtake by flour mills to meet festive season demand mainly led to rise in prices of wheat.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) gained Rs 10 at Rs 1,610-1,615 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by the same margin to Rs 1,615-1,620 per 90 kg.
