Wheat strengthens on increased offtake by flour mills

NEW DELHI, June 28:  In restricted activity, wheat prices edged higher by Rs 5 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on increased offtake from flour mills.
Traders said increased offtake by flour mills to meet rising demand for atta mainly strengthened wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) advanced by Rs 5 to Rs 1,505-1,510 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and edged up to Rs 1,515-1,520 from Rs 1,510-1,515 per 90 kg.
