JAMMU, Oct 25: The alloy wheels and music system of a car were stolen, which was parked just 50 meters away from police post Parade.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of October 24 and 25, some unidentified thieves had stolen the alloy wheels and music system of a Santro car bearing registration number JK02BF-2681.
It is very surprising that the vehicle was parked just 50 meters away from Police Post Parade when the thieves struck and decamped with wheels and music system. The cost of the stolen items runs in thousands.
After noticing the theft, the owner of the vehicle lodged a complaint with police post Parade and a case was registered and manhunt was launched to nab the thieves.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
