JAMMU, Mar 18: Alka Singh, wife of Lt Gen RP Singh Army Commander Western Command paid obeisance at Shri Raghunath Temple.
On the occasion, officials of J&K Dharmarth Trust accorded a warm welcome to Alka Singh by presenting her a bouquet. She was welcomed amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras by priests of temple.
Alka Singh, accompanied by wives of other officers, performed Aarti at the historical Raghunath Temple and the Head Priest briefed her about the history of historical temple, which was established by Maharaja Gulab Singh.
She took a round of the temple premises and appreciated the efforts of Dharmarth Trust for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in premises.
Alka Singh also appreciated the arrangements made by temple management for providing all possible facilities to visiting pilgrims.
Secretary J&K Dharmarth Trust, Dr Sat Pal, Additional Secretary Varinder Singh Jamwal, Administrator Raghunath Temple Darshan Kumar and Pankaj Khajuria were also present.
