JAMMU, Jan 16: After assuming the office of Chairman of Social Justice Committee of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Subhash Sharma said that his priority will be to ensure hassle-free pensions to widows, old age people and physically challenged persons.
Subhash Sharma, Councillor of Ward Number 36 today assumed the office of Chairman of Social Justice Committee of JMC in the presence of senior BJP leader and ex-MLA, Sat Sharma; senior BJP leader and Chief Whip of BJP in JMC General House, Pramod Kapahi; JMC Mayor, Rajinder Sharma; Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria and others.
Councillors Jeet Angral, Kuldeep Singh Chib, Ajay Gupta, Tripta Devi, Sham Lal, Ritu Choudhary and Rama Devi are other members of the Social Justice Committee.
Speaking on the occasion Subhash Sharma said that his other priorities as a Chairman will be that BPL Ration Cards are provided in simple procedure to the deserving people.
“The concerned department should verify if any well off person is having BPL Ration Card,” he maintained, adding: “I will also ensure Health, E-Shram and Labour Cards to the deserving people.”
