MLA kick starts work of road

SAMBA, Nov 11: Chander Prakash Ganga, MLA Vijaypur Assembly segment, while continuing the development work in his constituency, today started the work of a road to be built at a cost of Rs 94 lakh in village Pekhari under Panchayat Salmeri along with DDC Chairman Samba Keshav Dutt Sharma.
This road will connect village Pekhari to Thandi Khui National Highway. On this occasion, Ganga said that the people of this village had made a demand at the time of elections and today, the same demand was fulfilled and the work on this road has been started. He said that relief will be provided to the villagers by laying tar on all the roads of the villages. Before starting the work, Ganga gave strict instructions to the officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) that there would be no compromise on the quality of the work and urged them to maintain quality on which no compromise should be made.
Senior BJP leader, Jai Ram, Mandal president, Ajay Kumar, Sarpanch, Sandoor Singh, Sarpanch, Ramesh Kumar, Panch Askar Ali, BJP workers, Parveen, Shiv Kumar, Neeraj, Mohan, Gopal and others from the village accompanied Ganga.
