JAMMU, Dec 16: DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony today said that he will rejuvenate the entire border belt by ensuring state-of-art facilities to the people of his constituency.
He was addressing a gathering during a visit to village Kornotana Kalan. He also listened to the demands of the people of the area and assured that he will take up the same with the concerned quarters for early fulfilment.
The DDC member said that the sole aim of his joining politics is rendering selfless service to people and for this he will leave no stone unturned. He said that people have reposed faith in his capabilities and will try his best to come up to their expectations by doing everything possible to mitigate their problems well in time.
On the occasion, Ex Sarpanch Harnam Singh, youth leader Sunil Choudhary, Panch Daleep Singh, Choudhary Munshi Ram, Captain Bhagwan Chaudhary, Captain Kewal Krishan and others appealed to the member DDC for blacktopping road alongside the canal as the same has not been done for the last 15 years.
Upon this, Tony assured that the work on the aforesaid project will be taken up soon. Going a step further, he directed the concerned AEE Bhupinder and other concerned JEs on the spot to start blacktopping of the aforesaid road as the people are facing hardships since long.
While giving instructions for the aforesaid work, the DDC Member stressed on ensuring quality of the work and use of standard material with no delinquency whatsoever. He said that he is very particular about timely completion of projects as any inordinate delay mars the very purpose of the development work besides escalating the cost.
Tony said that the people should rest assured that their works will be accomplished with lightning speed as he will not sit idle until and unless all the development works are completed in the constituency.
