JAMMU, Nov 25: President J&K Dharmarth Trust, Ajay Gandotra today asserted that Trust will retrieve all the land presently grabbed by encroachers using legal course of action.
He said this after paying a surprise visit to Shri Raghunath Ji Temple Sagoon in Mansar.
Administrator Dharmarth Trust, Manmohan Singh Jamwal also accompanied him during the visit.
Gandotra inspected the temple premises and expressed concern over encroachment of the Trust land there.
He said that Dharmarth Trust will ensure that every inch of land grabbed by the encroachers will be retrieved using legal means.
The Trust President directed Land Record Officer of the Trust to maintain revenue records without any laxity as the same holds significance in saving the land from encroachers.
He made it clear those who have illegally trespassed or grabbed land of the Trust should be booked and tried. Gandotra said that no one will be spared for the illegal act of grabbing temple’s land. He however asked the people to desist from such unwarranted acts which may land them in trouble.
Gandotra categorically said that Ram Ji Temple in Sagoon is an ancient temple and Trust is duty bound to develop it to ensure state of the art facilities to visiting devotees.
