SRINAGAR: Winter vacation in all schools has been extended till March 2 in Kashmir division, where class work will resume on March 5 after about 3-month-long winter break.
“As recommended by Director School Education of Kashmir and Jammu Divisions, winter vacation in all Government and recognized private schools of Kashmir division is hereby extended up to March 2 in view of the extreme inclement weather conditions,” an official said.
He said the class work in all the schools will resume on March 5.
However, he said the teaching faculty and other staff of Government schools shall report to duties on February 25. (AGENCIES)
