JAMMU, Jan 6: In view of extreme cold weather conditions, Directorate of School Education Jammu today further extended the winter vacations in the Government as well as private schools in Summer Zone of Jammu Division till January 12, 2024.
However, all the teaching staff shall resume their duties with effect from January 8 and Head of Institutions shall ensure classes for class 10th to 12th through online mode during the extended vacation period.
As per the order, any laxity in this regard by the schools shall attract action under Rules.
