Winter vacations in HC from Jan 3

JAMMU, Dec 18: High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will remain closed for the winter vacations with effect from the January 3, 2022 to January 25 (both days inclusive).
There will be no work between January 3 and January 8.
Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal has nominated Justice Puneet Gupta as Vacation Judge for Jammu Wing from January 10 to January 17 and Justice Javed Iqbal Wani as Vacation Judge from January 19 to January 25.
For Srinagar Wing, from January 10 to January 17 Justice Mohan Lal and from January 18 to January 25, Justice Mohd Akram Chowdhary will be Vacation Judge.
Meanwhile, the Subordinate Courts in Kashmir province and the courts located in Kishtwar and Doda districts and courts at Batote, Gool, Banihal and Ukhral in Ramban district and Bani in Kathua district as well as courts located in the Union Territory of Ladakh will observe 15 days winter vacations with effect from January 3 to January 17 (both days inclusive).
The Principal District and Sessions Judges and Chief Judicial Magistrates of the concerned districts will make the suitable arrangements for disposal of urgent criminal business arising during the period of such vacations in the area within their respective jurisdiction.
