This has been reference to the news item regarding ‘Reducing RBA percentage’ published in the Daily Excelsior sometime back. We express deep concern against the rationalization of Reservation Policy by UT Government on 30/1/2020 with regard to RBA Category of candidates, reducing it from 20 percent to 10 percent only, which is cheating with the said category of candidates.
Further, instead of increasing the percentage in favour of RBA category, we feel cheated by the Govt. The candidates belonging to RBA category are in good numbers than any other category. The area includes Udhampur, Reasi, Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Leh, Kargil and similar areas of Kashmir as well. The Govt must reduce the category of those who are continuously enjoying this benefit for the last more than hundred years.
It is requested to Govt to immediately withdraw the decision otherwise the people will come to streets to fight for their genuine issue.
