JAMMU, Nov 3: A woman was today allegedly beaten by her husband over a minor scuffle in Panjgrian area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Nagrota.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Naseem Bibi, wife of Jamat Ali, a resident of Panjgrian was severely beaten at her residence by her husband over a minor scuffle.
The injured woman was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
