Srinagar, Sept 21: Police today said a woman attempted suicide in in Kupwara district of north Kashmir last evening.
A police spokesman said a woman (name withheld) of Waterkhani in Drugmulla area of the district consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“She was shifted to the District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard,” the spokesman added.
