RAMBAN, Aug 16: A woman allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
As per police sources, a woman namely Nazia Begum (33), wife of Riaz Ahmed of Chaapa, Batote allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
She was rushed to Critical Health Centre (CHC) Batote, from where she was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment.
Batote police have taken cognizance in this regard.
