Pampore, July 5: An 63 year old Zoona Begum, the mother of senior media person Bilal Habib was admitted in Sub District Hospital Pampore after she was bitten by a stray dog at the gate of her house at Namblabal, Pampore today.
The residents of Pampore have alleged that some unknown persons collect dogs from different localities and drop them at Pampore making the lives of the people hell.
“We are afraid to walk in lanes and by lanes during morning and evening hours and during night we can not even dare to come out of our houses”, said a resident.
“Our school going children are vulnerable for attacks by stray dogs. So the administration must think some thing to check the growing number of stray dogs in the town”, suggested another resident of Pampore.
