JAMMU, July 10: A woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Sidhere area of Tehsil RS Pura.
The deceased has been identified as Swarno Devi, wife of Jung Bahadur, a resident of Sidhere Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for completion of medical and legal formalities.
RS Pura Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
