RAMBAN, Sept 21: A lady allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab in Karol area, today.
As per police sources, a 22-year-old lady identified as Satya Devi, daughter of Sansar Singh of village Chakwa, Panchayat Dildar allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab in Karol area.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and divers were pressed in to retrieve the body from the river. The body was not fished out from the river till last reports were compiled.
Ramban police has taken cognizance in this regard.
