UDHAMPUR, Dec 16: A middle aged woman consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at the house of her in-laws at Chenani in Udhampur district.
According to the police, Satya Devi (55), wife of Amar Chand of Chenani, consumed some poisons substance at her home last night and fell semi-unconscious. The family members took her to Sub District Hospital Chenani where doctors referred her District Hospital Udhampur.
She was responding to the treatment when last reports came in. Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
