JAMMU, Oct 9: A woman, who had allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her temporary residence in Kullian area of city outskirts, died this morning here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, the woman identified as Khushboo (20) wife of Udal Singh (an Army Jawan), resident of MP (at present Kullian, RS Pura) had allegedly consumed some poisonous at her residence on October 6 and since then she was undergoing treatment at Military Hospital, Satwari.
However, her condition deteriorated yesterday following which she was referred to GMCH Jammu, where she died this morning. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased woman was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
