JAMMU, Apr 12: A woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence Bagh-e-Bahu area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Sunita Devi (25) wife of Vijay Prakash, a resident of UP (at present Kalka colony, Bagh-e-Bahu) consumed some poisonous at her residence, late last night.
In unconscious condition, the family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where she expired this morning.
The body of the deceased lady was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter
