REASI, Mar 25: Panic gripped Dhansaal area in Reasi where a young woman was attacked and critically injured by a wild leopard, this morning.
The victim, identified as Sakina Begum, wife of Mushtaq Ahmed of Dhansaal, has been admitted to the District Hospital Reasi.
The incident took place this morning when the victim had gone to fields where the leopard attacked her.
The same leopard had killed two goats last night and a horse few days ago.
The presence of leopard and its recent attacks have created panic in the remote village and the matter has been brought into the notice of Wildlife Department.
