SRINAGAR, Oct 22: A woman died today after she was hit by a truck at K.P. Road in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said that the accident took place early in the morning when a truck bearing registration number JK04A- 6858 was passing through Car Plaza, K P Road and hit a woman.
The woman has been identified as Haseena Begum, wife of Mohammad Yousuf of Nai Basti.
The injured was shifted to GMC Hospital Anantnag for immediate medical help, however, the doctors declared her brought dead.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations have been set in motion.
