JAMMU, Feb 27: A woman died in a private nursing home in Panjtirthi area due to alleged negligence of the doctor.
According to the reports, a woman was taken by her attendants to Yudhvir Nursing Home for surgery of gall bladder stone but after giving anesthesia to the patient, she fell unconscious, following which she was referred to Government Medical College Jammu, where she was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
As the attendants of the deceased patient alleged that the she died to negligence of the doctor, inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Pacca Danga and further investigation started. The body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites after conducting postmortem.
