RAJOURI, Mar 15: A woman was died after serious burn injuries under mysterious circumstances, at her residence in Lam area of Nowshera today.
The deceased has been identified as Darshan Kour (55), wife of Isher Singh, resident of village Rajpura Kamila in Lam tehsil. She sustained over 80 % burn injuries during morning hours at her residence and was rushed to SDH Nowshera. She succumbed to injuries while being shifted to GMC Jammu from Nowshera hospital, the police said.
A case has been registered under 174 CrPC in this connection. Further investigation was in progress.
