UDHAMPUR, May 29: A woman was knocked to death when a motorcycle was hit by a passenger bus on the National Highway near Tikri.
The deceased was identified as Kavita Devi, wife of Sanjay Kumar of Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu. She along with her husband, was on way from Udhampur to Jammu on motorcycle bearing registration number JKO2BK-3513, which was hit by passenger bus last evening.
In the accident, Sanjay Kumar escaped unhurt while Kavita was critically injured. She was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu. She succumbed to her injuries in the wee hours today.
