JAMMU, Dec 27: A woman died today in a road mishap in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a pedestrian identified as Shamina Akhter (35) wife of Jaleel Khan, resident of Tanda (Nagrota), received serious injuries today at about 8 PM after a speeding car hit her on National Highway at Jagti.
“The injured woman was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where she succumbed to her injuries at about 9 PM. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital”, he added.
In this connection, Nagrota police had registered a case and started investigations.
