JAMMU, Nov 18: A woman died today under mysterious circumstances in Trikuta Nagar area on outskirts of city.
“Madhu Gupta (55) wife of Gopal Jaiswar, resident of Allahabad, was found dead this afternoon with her body lying in a pool of blood on a lane beside her rented accommodation at House Number 31, Sector 8, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu,” a police official said.
He said according to the family members the woman fell from the roof of the 2-storey house. “After getting conducted postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, the body of the deceased was handed over to her family members while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection in police station Bahu Fort,” the official added.
