RAJOURI, July 20: In its drive against drug menace, Rajouri Police today arrested a woman and her associate along with drugs near Kallar on Rajouri-Jammu highway.
Official sources said that police party Chingus led by SI Fareed Ahmed during naka at Kallar intercepted a woman namely -Shamshad, wife of Nasir Ahmed , resident of Dadasanbala along with her accomplice – Zulfqar Ali, son of Abdul Gani, resident of Ward No. 8, Rajouri and recovered some drugs of toxic nature from them.
Both while crossing the naka point, were placed under frisking and during the process, the cops recovered 750 Capsules of SMP PRX and 140 Tablets of Nitrozen form their possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No.310/2017 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station, Rajouri against them.
