UDHAMPUR, July 5: A woman was electrocuted after coming in contact with the live wires on the roof top of her house in Sayal Sallian area of the district.
Police spokesman said that, a woman identified as Vidya devi, wife of Des Raj, resident of Sayal Sallian, district Udhampur, came in contact with the live wires on the roof top of her home.
Family members shifted her to district hospital, where she failed to respond to the treatment and died.
The body was handed over to legal heirs after autopsy, while, a case under relevant sections stands registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
