Woman escapes with Rs 20,000 after putting chilli powder in man’s eyes

MENDHAR, Oct 18: A woman allegedly escaped with Rs 20,000 after putting chilli powder in the eyes of her victim in Sub District Hospital, Mendhar in district Poonch today.
Report said that one Mohammad Latif, son Mir Mohammad, a resident Darana came to Mendhar Sub District hospital for his treatment, where after checkup the doctor asked him to get the ECG test conducted. During the process a woman threw red chillies at his face. In the meanwhile, she stolen Rs 20,000 kept in the patient’s box in his purse in Technician’s room and ran away.
Victim Mohammad Latif said that he had reached the hospital with Rs 20,000 from the bank where an unknown woman told that she also have to get ECG test done. She claimed that technician in the hospital was not doing her test.  As he was undergoing ECG test, the woman cleverly threw chillies and escaped with Rs 2,000 forms there.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Mendhar Police Station on the complaint of Mohammad Latif and the police is looking out for woman taking help of CCTV footage.
