RAJOURI, Aug 20: A woman died after she slipped into a Nallah from hilly track and died in Thannamandi area today.
Official sources said that 52-year-old woman accidentally slipped and fell into Darra Nallah in Baryoon area today. The deceased has been identified as Khursheeda Begum, wife of Mohd Younis Thakkar, a resident of Baryoon, in Thannamandi.
The woman who was temporarily residing in a Dhok on hill top along with her cattle, was on her way back to home via Darra when she unfortunately fell into the Nallah. Despite efforts by locals, she could not be saved. Later, her body was recovered from the Nallah.
