SRINAGAR, June 13: A 32-year-old woman was today found dead under suspicious circumstances at her in-laws’ house in the Kakroosa area of Handwara in north Kashmir.
As per reports, the woman was found dead at her in-laws’ house early in the morning.
As soon as the news of her death broke, the victim’s family alleged that they have found her dead under suspicious circumstances
The family has been protesting since morning at Pachkote Tarathpora – the native village of the victim, demanding a thorough investigation into the ‘sudden’ death of the woman.
Health officials in the district said that a post-mortem of the body has been conducted.
Meanwhile, the police said that inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated for due investigations into the incident.
